Short Visor vs Standard Brim: Measurement References

A comparison photo is helpful; a measurement convention makes it repeatable.

Use this sample set to describe a manufacturing brief. It is not a promise that every visible detail, fabric or logo can be reproduced without confirmation.

READING THE SAMPLE

What the photographs show

One photo illustrates where a tape can be placed; another compares a compact black cap against a larger yellow cap. The comparison is visual, not a published size specification.

Decisions to include in the specification

  • Specify the exact points between which you want the visor measured.
  • Ask for the finished visor width and its curvature in addition to length.
  • Measure and sign off the physical sample before authorizing bulk production.

What these photos cannot confirm

The tape and comparison images should not be treated as confirmed production measurements for a future order.

Can I order a cap from a reference photograph alone?

A photograph can start the brief. The approved sample and written measurements are still needed to control the final shape.
