Brim projection / crown depth
Short-Brim & Low-Profile Caps
A shorter visor changes the front silhouette, but it cannot be specified by a front photo alone. Check the cap from the side and record the crown depth alongside visor projection.

CONSTRUCTION NOTES
What matters in this collection
The useful distinction is not simply “short” versus “standard”. A cap with a compact visor may still sit tall, while a soft-looking crown can feel different once its internal construction is chosen. These real comparison and measurement views provide a starting point for discussing the pattern.
Brim projection is measured consistently from the joining seam to the visor tip.
Crown depth and front-panel support must be agreed separately from the visor length.
A front-facing reference can hide the slope of a brim; request a side view.
